Mental Health Awareness Week 🩵
When people hear about Ladies Circle, they often think of friendship, fundraising and fun nights out, and yes, we absolutely love all of those things. But Circle is so much more than that.
Behind the socials, coffee catch ups and events are real women supporting each other through some of life’s hardest moments.
Several of our members have experienced postnatal depression, and Circle became a place where they felt seen, supported and understood. A place where they could laugh again, talk openly without judgement, and know they weren’t facing things alone.
Another member joined us after suffering domestic abuse. Through Circle, she found friendship, confidence and purpose again. It helped her rediscover who she was beyond her trauma and rebuild her identity surrounded by women who genuinely cared.
Sometimes the biggest difference comes from the smallest moments:
🩵 A message checking in
🩵 A cup of tea and a chat
🩵 Someone noticing you’re struggling
🩵 A room full of women reminding you that you matter
That’s what Circle really is.
Not just friendship. Not just fundraising. But a community where women lift each other up, especially when life feels heavy.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re proud to be part of something that truly makes a difference to women’s lives, one little moment at a time.

We have now set a date for the first meeting of our next consultation group which will be entitled ‘Social Prescribing & Health.’ 😁
This will take place from 10am-Noon on Friday, May 1 at Preston Town Hall.
As we have previously mentioned, this will be a ‘round table’ type discussion group with only a loose agenda for guidance and we will be guided by any issues the attendees see fit to bring up
There’s still time to get involved if you wish to do so.
Just drop us an email to [email protected] and we will provide further information.
