The moment structural steel goes in… a project suddenly feels real.

This week on site we reached another key milestone.

Our team have been constructing the rear structural brick piers, which will carry the loads from the steelwork and support the structure moving forward.

It’s the type of work that most people will never see once the building is finished — but it’s one of the most important parts of the build. Accuracy, levels and proper bonding are everything at this stage.

With the structural steels now installed, the building is really starting to take shape and you can begin to visualise the finished spaces.

Next stage on the programme:

• Manufacture the arch formers for the rear openings
• Begin constructing the brick arches
• Continue progressing the structural brickwork
