Staying in Reading over Summer? Now that it’s a bit cooler, you can think of all of the exciting things to do right on your doorstep!🤸‍♀️

Here’s just a small snippet of what Reading and the surrounding area has to offer, you can:

🌳 Soak up the sun on a scenic walk around Dinton Pastures or California Country Park
🎪 Go to a festival - with the infamous Reading Festival in August!
🦥 Take a trip to the Living Rainforest or Beale Wildlife Park to meet Berkshire’s resident wildlife
🛍️ Do a spot of shopping in and around the Oracle
💺 Take public transport nearby to places such as Sonning, Wokingham, or Caversham
🏃 Get involved with a local parkrun! Every Saturday, you can run or volunteer at one of our 4 Reading parkruns
🧺 Enjoy a picnic at Caversham Court or Forbury Gardens
🏙️ Head to London for a day trip, which is only a 20 minute journey from Reading Station!
