First preseason match ✅

The 1s travelled down to the South Downs in Sussex yesterday to take on .

The new Llama recruits impressed with 50s from (78) and Garth Davson (68) in the Llamas total of 220. 6 wickets were shared by Llama seamers , & , guesting for Nomads.

Other 🦙 newbie took 3-44, whilst Sheen, and all picked up a brace. An encouraging return for GMac after spending 2025 on the sidelines.

Next week the 1s and 2s take on , whilst the head to for some warm weather training, matches, golf and the odd 🍻🍷

Brijesh Patel is the new Llama 4th XI captain, talking over from Michael Ramsden. Brijesh was the 5th XI skipper last season, and will be looking to get the 4s into a promotion battle back up to Div9.

The new season is nearly upon us, and it’s time to introduce our senior captains for 2026.

First up is .willsher, heading into just his second season at the club. Ben takes charge of the 5th XI — one of the toughest roles in cricket, but also one of the most rewarding.
