Last night saw a group of the UK’s elite sommeliers raising glasses of Cap Classique to celebrate the inaugural Sommelier’s Sommelier Award at 67 Pall Mall.
The ultimate endorsement, this is a peer-to-peer competition, with voting conducted exclusively by Sommelier Edit Top 100 Alumni. The ten finalists were as follows:

Island Media is honoured to have been shortlisted by The Drinks Business in the 2025 Drinks Business Awards for The Best Social Media Campaign for our campaign to encourage everyone to buy Just One Bottle of Ukrainian Wine.
The devasting effects of the Russian invasion have significantly affected the Ukrainian wine industry with many wineries having fallen into decline or disappearing.
As they continue their fight, a handful of resilient producers are still producing wine ensuring that the Ukrainian wine industry survives and thrives into the future. We are urging everyone to buy a bottle (or more) or Ukrainian wine to support these brave and resourceful producers and keep this area of the industry alive.
