We sadly had to say goodbye to our gorgeous girl Duffy yesterday 😢
It was a heartbreaking moment watching her slip away in my arms and watching her heart 💔 failing her . After I’d given her several attempts of CPR I couldn’t bring her back . Duffy we will miss you so much , beach walks will never be the same . Louié is missing you too, he’s never been on his own before . He’s lost his sister , his best friend and cuddle partner 🐶💕🐶 Hope you enjoy your new life over the doggie rainbow 🌈 bridge . You’ll always be in our hearts 💕 and in our thoughts everyday. Off lead dogs or dogs on flex leads rushing at dogs on lead causes so much stress for dogs & their people. Sure, accidents happen but some people just don’t get that your dog doesn’t want to “say hi”. People don’t want to have to manage their own dog and yours!

Why should anyone have to explain why their dog doesn’t want to meet yours? So many reasons! Dogs are old, sick, too small, scared, reactive, frightened, just adopted, already been injured by a “saying hello” dog or just don’t want to!

It’s simple. If you see a dog on lead put yours on until you pass. That will avoid any stress or confrontation.
