Joined forces today with the Don Catchment Rivers Trust team on a stream clean at the Brecks this morning. Local litter pickers visit the area regularly & do a fantastic job keeping the popular walking route clean & tidy. We didn’t have much litter to shift thanks to their efforts.
It was a rather scruffy job in & along the watercourse shifting wood, making habitat stacks & improving the flow. Great to be joined by Cllr Nigel Harper, Swinton Community Focus Group Graham & catch up with my old friend Rowena.
