Last week was Carers Week and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate, support and recognise unpaid carers across Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster and the wider South Yorkshire region.

From coffee mornings, canal boat trips and cream teas, to community events, pop-up shops and even a trip to Sheffield DocFest, we've had an incredible week bringing carers together and raising awareness of the vital role they play every day.

Thank you to Jason White and the team at Next, Ethel Trust Community Barges, Birley Moor Garden Centre, Grandpa Joe's Potting Shed, Lakeside Village, Sheffield DocFest, and all the venues, volunteers, partner organisations and supporters who made these events possible.

There are far too many people to name individually, but please know how grateful we are for your support, kindness and community spirit.

Most importantly, thank you to the carers themselves. Your dedication, resilience and compassion do not go unnoticed.
