Our summer table !

Our 'resident poet' Ray, wrote a lovely poem about our new chairs which I share with you.

"The Humble Chair waits to serve the seated row, no matter how many come or go
The constant faithful humble chair hears the songs, the whispered prayer
They hold the weight of weary souls, and help to make the broken whole
The Humble Chair sees every tear in secret fall, then watches as God listens to all
When all are seated, God's Word is spoken, for generations old and new
The Humble Chair offers up a place of truth
This humble chair, can be a quiet place, a sacred space, ministering God's Holy Grace
So this Sunday, thank God for this chair
Whisper a little Prayer"..

Thank you to Captain Richard Weston from DHQ for conducting our meeting this morning. It was a lovely meeting with lots of singing. We especially enjoyed learning a new chorus with lots of actions ! (a bit like a work out).
We are thankful to Richard for his continuing support whilst we have been unofficered.
