And the investigation begins, the destroyed gasket from the turbo to the exhaust would explain the blowing noise.

Fridays track day was mega. I had so much fun. Saturday was a different story. I set a time of 2:19 ended up 6th in class out of 8 and 53rd overall. So not last and all with a poorly car! My time was 4 seconds slower than last year. I wonder what would have been had the car been good. C’est la vie!

Had a great time at the Sprint this weekend. Lots of support from friends. Words of advice from Andrew Fletcher go out set a lap and we’ll build on it. Well that didn’t quite go to plan. First lap 1:39:45. (Just under 2 seconds faster then my best time last year) 2nd run had the handbrake slightly on. Next 3 runs slightly faster then last year times, a little more consistent but no where near my first time and the last run….. well let’s just say it was hot, sweaty and the concentration was gone.

I had to take a screenshot of the standings after my first run as I was sitting second in class. Maybe I tried too hard to keep it and so made silly mistakes.
