Chica would like to ask some of her favourite followers if they would purchase her some of her favourite insect patee. She's rather partial to this and it forms a large part of her diet with her live insects. Mummy Clare has added it to Twiggys amazon wish list for her ❤️🥰

So little cutie pie Chica will be heading to Harrisons vets in Leeds next week. She is to have her left leg amputated as its just flapping about in her way. Her foot useless and has no reflex. The break is too severe to repair. It's an open fracture right at her knee joint.

I need to raise around £300. £200 for actual op and rest for medications and transport for her to and from Leeds.

Can anyone please help donate towards this for me? You can either donate directly to the vets if I get their details or you can donate to Twiggys. All funds received will go on this operation to give Chica the best chance at a happy pain-free life.

Sat in vets waiting room with little Chica the baby great tit with a badly broken leg. Here for assessment for plan of action with operating.
I will have to do a fund raiser for this once I know extent of cost. Such a little cutie pie. 🤞🤞🥰❤️🐥She's managing so well already with the one leg. Got waxworms with me for treats for being good as this will be traumatising for her 😢😢😢

From today I will only be taking swifts, swallows and house Martins. Now they're back in UK and breeding. I need to be on call for those and they're my priority as they require specialist care.
If you should find any of these grounded. It is an emergency. Please contact the sos team who will advise what to do and they'll liaise with me or other rehabbers.

Do love a clean aviary. Won't last long lol. Pigeons just love slinging their food all over. They bath and p**p in their drinking water 🫣🤣 so it's a constant job to keep it like this. Some piccies of feathers Mcgraw, Charlie, Simon and Carly too for their finders. I'll add a video in the comments too.

I'm totally over run at the minute with baby birds. I'm also struggling with a flare up of my CFS/ME. For this reason I'm not going to take anymore for a few days until I get back on top of everything. I'm going to totally burn myself out otherwise. Today alone I've had 158 WhatsApp messages!!!! I can't keep up.
I've lost count how many Bluetit babies have come in. It's crazy. Plus swallows have now started arriving too.

I did manage to release a starling fledgling and two Bluetit fledglings earlier which is always rewarding and I've given the aviary a clean out.
There's only me, I'm a One person rescue and I'm exhausted.

Just want to say a huge huge thankyou to Sioux and all the staff at Duro Jakota in S20 who very genorously donated 10 x25kg sacks of pigeon feed. I easily get through a sack a week so this will help me sooo much. You really are amazing. ❤️❤️

Also to the lovely person /s who have sent me a tub of nutribird a21 formula and a pack of 15 tins of the royal canin mousse we add for extra protein. Both of these parcels came annonomously off Twiggys amazon wish list. Both were very much appreciated and definitely needed at the minute. Thankyou ❤️

Lastly a huge thankyou to Jackie Shaw for the donation of the small garden bird aviary. I will get this built ASAP and will prove invaluable for the garden birds that need soft release. ❤️
