*** After school nanny Paddington***

Bilingual family in Paddington area is looking for a French mother tongue after-school nanny with immediate effect.

Please note that this is a part-time position and your working hours during term-time will be roughly as follows:

During term time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 3.50pm to 7pm
School holidays: timetable to be agreed separately depending on parens travel plans and your availability.

Start date: as soon as possible

Note that this is a permanent position. Ideally, the parents would like you to stay for the entire school year (and beyond by mutual agreement)

This is a live-out position! Please do not apply if you are looking for an au pair job.

The parents will pay:

Salary: £12 per hour
Your travel costs (within London zones 1-2)
4 weeks paid holiday per year (pro rata)
Occasional evening baby-sitting at the same hourly rate (They will always notify you of this well in advance)

Your duties include the following:

Collecting younger son (aged 8) from his school (near Ladbroke Grove tube station). Their older son (aged 11) will make his own way home from school. They live close to Paddington Station.
The boys have English mother tongue, but understand French quite well and speak at an intermediate level. One important part of your job consists in helping the boys improve their French vocabulary and fluency in the language.
Supervising French language homework.
Preparing dinner (for the boys only).

You will at all times speak French with the boys. Please do not apply if you are looking for a nanny job where you can practise your English!

You will need previous nanny/baby-sitting experience and must be a non-smoker.
