Have you heard?! We’re heading back to this summer for our Lavender & Lanterns - a sunset memory walk💜

Inspired by our much loved Lavender Walk, on Saturday 4 July, our community will gather at the lavender fields at sunset to celebrate those we love.

Danielle and her sisters, Holly and Jasmine, will be joining us this year, as they’ve lovingly done before, in memory of their mum, Andrea 💜

The sisters will walk alongside a large group of family and friends in Andrea’s memory, and are already rallying sponsorship support in the lead up 🎉

Every ticket helps fund vital hospice care and makes a real difference. If you’re not able to join, you can still visit our site to dedicate an Everlasting Rose for your loved one, to be displayed at the lavender fields and yours to have as a special keepsake in the week after.

Making a difference 🌿💚

Ahead of the sunny bank holiday weekend, we were delighted to have Capsticks LLP with us yesterday volunteering at our Hospice Garden!

Led by Penny, one of our lovely garden volunteers, the team rolled up their sleeves to help prepare our gardens for the summer! They really put the work in clearing our wooded areas, planting part of our Wellbeing garden, and chipping up all the prunings - renaming the chipper “Chop-sticks!”

St Raphael’s relies on the support of our community to keep our hospice running, and a massive thanks to the wonderful Capsticks team for getting stuck in to help! 🌿

It’s back - join us at Mayfield Lavender this summer! 🌿✨

Set against the purple haze of the lavender fields, we're delighted to invite you to Lavender & Lanterns - a sunset memory walk in support of your local hospice, and in celebration of those you love.

Inspired by our much-loved Lavender Walk, the event returns this year with some new additions. Personalised lanterns can be carried as you walk, creating a trail of light across the fields at sunset. Everlasting Roses will be displayed amongst the lavender, dedicated to those we love.

We can't wait to walk beside you again, in honour of those who matter most. 💜

All funds raised go directly to the vital care we provide on our ward and in the community.
