It’s a pleasure to introduce Aimee Fletcher with an image from her course work at college.

"This image I took of my younger sister was intended to explore the stigma around beauty standards. Her holding this broken mirror, with her perfectly posed and lit face within it, represents the length and struggles people will go through to just be "perfect".

‘Photo Swindon - Viewfinder’, provides graduates and students with an opportunity to showcase their work. We hope the platform provides an important step in their pursuit of photographic skills, in identifying and communicating their unique photographic voice, and offers tangible experience of exhibiting photographic work.
Unlike our International exhibitions this year, which focussed on some of the most impactful photojournalism and documentary photographic stories of recent years, the students and graduates work towards briefs from their course leaders spanning many genres of photographic work. We would like to wish them well with the hope that they feel inspired to achieve purposeful work, and to continue pursuing their dreams.
