Did you know Beechcroft Library have a Toddler Story Time every Thursday from 10.30am, as well as a Saturday Story Time on the first and third Saturday of the month from 11am? 📖🗣️

These sessions are all suitable for age 7 and under. They are free events and there is no need to book.

Did you know this year's Summer Reading Challenge launches on Saturday 25 July? The theme this year is “Read to the Beat”, which celebrates the connection between stories and sound, discovering how reading and music both ignite imagination and creativity! 📚🎧 🎼

The Summer Reading Challenge is aimed at primary school children between 4 - 11 and helps avoid a slump in reading over the summer holidays 📖

For the first time, this year, every child taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge will receive their very own FREE copy of Storytime Magazine! 🗣️📕

In the meantime, make sure your child/young person is ready to take part. The Summer Reading Challenge is a free event available to library members. Anyone can join the library for free, you can either register at any Swindon Library with a parent or guardian and some ID such as a driving licence, council tax bill or utility bill or visit
