The February 2026 edition is out now.

Why not plan your Valentine's Day this month on 14th February? Conveniently landing on a Saturday, order flowers from Guelder Rose (see p.3) and finish your day with a meal at Quercus Bistro (see p.18). If eating at home take advantage of JGK Butchers & Delicatessen who have a special offer on steaks (see p.5).

It is also half term for the school kids this month, so take the kids to REME in Lyneham (see p.3) or for the younger ones go to the play cafe at Bubs and Brews (also on p.3).

If the weather has impacted your home there are lots of good trades people advertising throughout the magazine to include plumbers, electricians and landscape gardeners.

This is the month to keep yourself warm and prepare for the Spring ahead. And if looking to get involved in volunteer work, look at the Town Council's advert on p.19 for ideas.

January 2026's edition starts the New Year with a publication filled with local businesses. The Conservative Club are promoting their facilities and events on p.8. It serves competitively priced food and beverages for a great night out. Barnes Coaches have a new brochure out. Order yours now - see page 15. The Town Council are organising a Hoe Down event at Wootton Bassett Memorial Hall - see p.20 and if you're community spirited, why not look at volunteering for the CCTV Team or Community Speed Watch (see p.20). Quercus Bistro is promoting an alternative Burns Night celebration (see p.23) and there are a host of businesses to help you if your boiler breaks down, roof needs repairing or fences mending should the weather be challenging this month. Please browse through this month's edition and use local businesses where you can. Happy New Year!

The November 2025 magazine showcases Christmas in Royal Wootton Bassett with details from the Town Council on the Christmas Festival shopping evening on 28th November (see p.9). RWB & District Rotary list their venues to see Santa and his Sleigh (p.11). There's lots of things to do including unique Rodeo-style Christmas parties at Sustain (see p.5). Start thinking of orders for Christmas wreaths, flowers etc from Fay's Flowers on p.4 or The Guelder Rose on p.8! Ducklings Toy Shop on p.8 have details on spreading the cost of purchases of toys for Christmas and their annual letter to Santa is on the inside back cover. REME are advertising their Christmas Fair on p.36. Finally, start thinking of your Christmas dinner preparations with JGK Butchers. See their advert on p.24. It's all going on in the town! Scarrotts and Ram Fuels are advertising logs and kindling. See pages 15 & 26. Start feeling festive and browse through this 48 page edition.

The heat is on and the Summer holidays have started. August 2025 is a bumper 40 page edition with a good array of ideas for children's activities. See page 5 for local parks information from the Town Council, day trips with Barnes Coaches on p.15 and workshops etc. at the local REME museum in Lyneham on p.14. If you've planned to get your weight in a better place, try a Slimming World class. There's a few to choose from in different locations in Bassett and nearby. See p.3 for details. Broad Town CE Primary School are advertising on p.3 for applications as spaces are available. New advertisers are always coming into this popular magazine and Pure Carpentry & Building Ltd on p.7 is one of them. They offer a wide range of experience and service. Honeysuckle Day Care are promoting their Friendship, Care and Community Day Care. A great service in the heart of Royal Wootton Bassett. See p.33 for details. And if getting flights to get away, call Brian's Hire for airport transfers (p.33).
