Thanks everyone for your patience.
We are now gradually re-opening the workshop albeit at a reduced capacity, taking great care for the safety of customers and staff.
We are using the the latest Steri-7 cleaning system to minimise the chances of cross infection.
We are expecting a busy time ahead with many MOT's due at a similar time due to the DVLA 6 month extension, so please book in plenty of time.

Covid -19
As a very busy workshop, we have had to take the very difficult decision to temporarily shut the Garage .
This choice has not been taken lightly, but I feel this was a necessary decision to protect my loyal team and customers alike. The news that the virus can remain airbourne for several hours means no amount of cleaning can prevent contamination inside vehicles, and when dealing with 20 or more cars a day this is a major consideration.
Mots are being extended by DVLA when they became due as from the end of March and car use has dropped to approx 20% of normal. This further re-enforces my decision.

Stay safe

The Distinguished Gentlemans ride was yesterday with a 10.30am start. unfortunately the organisers of the Cirencester ride were forced to cancel due to the heavy storm predictions.

However in the afternoon the weather cleared so after donning my suitable attire I ventured out to cover the route on my own, as i felt not do do so would let my sponsers down.

So here are a couple of pictures of my bike and me.

We had a strange job today. A lovely lady and her car were brought into us by the RAC patrol (Chuck). Her problem.. the water pump drive belt had broken.
We checked and replaced the parts needed. In conversation, as she sat waiting, she mentioned that it wasn't her day today as earlier when driving she noticed her Mercedes star fly off its fixing on the bonnet! How unlucky was this, as now the shredded belt made sense.....The under bonnet retainer had become detached, this had dropped onto the drive belts causing the failure.
A failure caused by the mark of quality!
