Middlesbrough Methodist Hub

We finally have our new ‘Middlesbrough Methodist Hub’ sign up, slightly easier to say than Linthorpe Road Methodist Church & Resource Centre. So we’re the MMH now.

Today was about leading the district Methodist Women in Britain Advent Day. In the afternoon I ran a panel interview with Sahida from the Amal Project, Zoe from Cleveland Police & Meg a Methodist minister. I asked them about their communities, what it’s like being a woman in their communities, what challenges they face and what brings them hope. It gave ME hope hearing them speak as women leaders in our communities. We are stronger together.

We had a great day down at the hub yesterday running one of our sessions for Cleveland Police officers, Revd Charity even persuaded their EDI officer Satnam to dress up and play the part of an elderly lady. I think he carries it off very well!
