Official Statement from Kingsbridge Autos

Kingsbridge Autos is aware of a recent Facebook post regarding a vehicle recovery following a police stop and arrest.

We would like to clarify that no property was removed or stolen by any member of our staff. Kingsbridge Autos acted solely on instructions from the attending police officers in relation to the vehicle recovery.

Any property referenced in the post was removed by the police officer involved in the stop and subsequent arrest. Our role was limited strictly to the transportation and recovery of the vehicle as directed.

Kingsbridge Autos operates in full compliance with police instructions and industry regulations at all times. We take allegations of misconduct extremely seriously and strongly refute any suggestion that our staff acted improperly.

We would also like to make it clear that we do not tolerate aggressive, threatening, or abusive behaviour towards our staff under any circumstances. Our team members are carrying out their duties professionally and in accordance with official instructions, and they deserve to be treated with respect at all times.

If the individual concerned has questions regarding their belongings, we would respectfully advise them to contact Devon and Cornwall Police directly.
