It was a real pleasure to adjudicate the recent school music competition at Stonyhurst College.

With over 40 young musicians taking part, the breadth and quality of performances were very impressive. From Chopin at the piano, Bach at the organ, to heavily-improvised drums and electric guitar (with everything in between)!

It was particularly encouraging to see such commitment and musicality at a young age - a testament to both the pupils and their teachers.

A personal highlight was the opportunity to play the wonderful Lammermuir organ in the Great Hall!
