Wakefield Riding for the Disabled Association

Yesterday volunteers Lily and Connie long reined Ellie around our therapy ride. They didn’t manage to avoid the rain but had a great time anyway. 🌧️🌧️

Lily is a Camphill Wakefield student who also volunteers with us. She comes along on Saturday and it’s a bit of a family affair as both her mum and dad volunteer with us too!

In fact we have a number of young people who volunteer alongside their parents (and even grandparents) throughout the week.

It’s a great way to share experiences and interests and see young people develop and grow their skills and independence. And the bonus is you are developing new skills too.

This morning Dibble and Baxter were very eager to catch up with Bill and Blue when they were turned out! It looks like they were getting up to date with the gossip! 😂
