Izabela Rocks
Maker and creator of handmade things, mostly crocheted and tangled jewellery.
Watching fine silver wire transform into delicate earrings, one stitch at a time.
Today at Aylesbury Library, I’ve been demonstrating the traditional craft techniques behind my jewellery. Every piece begins with simple tools, patient hands, and a process that has been passed down through generations.
There’s something special about slowing down and seeing how a handmade piece comes to life, stitch by stitch.
If you’re visiting Bucks Art Weeks, do stop by and say hello. I’d love to show you how these intricate silver earrings are created and share a little of the story behind them.
I’ll be back at Aylesbury Library next Friday with another live demonstration, this time creating a new piece by crocheting with sterling silver chain. If you’ve ever wondered how textile techniques can be transformed into contemporary jewellery, I’d love to show you.

I’ve brought along a collection of my handcrafted jewellery featuring precious metal crochet, natural gemstones, woven textures and one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by nature and traditional textile techniques passed down through generations of my family.
