A big 10 months of work with Sam

12 months ago, Sam was a stranger who randomly showed up to one of my Hyrox group sessions.

Now heโ€™s one of my closest mates.

To truly bring the best out of yourself, you have to find your people and create a strong environment.

Luckily within the HPA Iโ€™ve got a strong community that does a lot of the heavy lifting for me, because they drive each other.

Sam became part of that environment and when you add that to his hard work and discipline, hereโ€™s what itโ€™s given him:

- Got into incredible shape and built some great lean muscle mass
- 5KM PB
- 2x Half marathon PBโ€™s
- Ran a 110km Ultra
- Completed his first Hyrox
- Carried his performance and progress from inside the gym over into his Rugby performance

Thatโ€™s some serious shift ๐Ÿ”

But the real win is whatโ€™s underneath it. What people donโ€™t seeโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

The knowledge heโ€™s gained, how much more confident he is, how heโ€™s feeling and performing at his best day in day out.

Heโ€™s unlocked all these levels, and heโ€™s still hungry for more.

A real winner who will continue to evolve ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป

Shoutout to my good friend Ryan | Adventure & Travel Content Creator ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป

8 weeks ago he got in touch to get the band back together ahead of his holiday.

Iโ€™d previously helped Ryan get into incredible shape for his 30th bday 4 years ago on pic 5. (sorry for pointing out that was 4 years ago big man ๐Ÿ˜‚).

The focus this time was to help him regain control, build structure around his training & nutrition, improve his running ability, help shift a few unwanted KGโ€™s and get back into decent shape ahead of his holiday to Madeira ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น

In 8 weeks we did exactly that ๐ŸŽฏ
- 5kg shifted ๐Ÿ“‰
- A new 5km PB ๐ŸŽฏ (and not just a PB on the initial test from W1, but a litetime PB)
- And we rediscovered some of that incredible muscle mass he built 4 years ago ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Now heโ€™s been on holiday, heโ€™s back and already into phase 2.

Where weโ€™re prepping him for the Conwy half marathon in November as part of the 4 castle series ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ

Whilst we develop his engine further, we will also continue to develop his physique and this boy will be back to his very best by the end of the summer ๐ŸŽฏ

I say it a lot, but you really can achieve some great progress in as little as 8-12 weeks when you get the right training and nutrition structure, weekly support, accountability and youโ€™re consistent at the process.

As we say in the Human Performance Academy โ€ฆ

In 12 weeks youโ€™ll never look back
