18 families signed up to receive Food Packs which will feed 59 people (adults & children). At the Foodbank top 3 reasons for foodbank referrals was no food, and cost of food / energy.

What an incredible month it has been!
Together, our Miles for Smiles 2026 campaign has officially finished, and thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters we have raised over £12,700, smashing our original target of £10,000 by reaching 127%!

Over 30 days, our dedicated walkers collectively completed 1,000 miles, raising vital funds to support the work of Secret Angels.

These funds will help us continue providing:

💜 Emergency food support
💜 Befriending for isolated residents
💜 Java Joy wellbeing sessions
💜 Digital Inclusion projects
💜 Practical help for people facing hardship

Miles for Smiles: Walking Together to Make a Difference 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️💙

A fantastic start to the day at West Park this morning as the Asian Music Radio team joined Alvina from Secret Angels for the Miles for Smiles Walkathon 2026!

Together, we’re taking on the challenge of completing 1,000 miles throughout June to raise vital funds and awareness for the incredible work carried out by Secret Angels in supporting vulnerable individuals and families in our communities.

Every mile walked helps shine a light on the importance of kindness, community support, and making a positive difference in people’s lives. Now we need your help to keep the momentum going!

🚶‍♀️👟 MILES FOR SMILES WALKATHON 👟🚶‍♂️

Today, the incredible team from Taylor Biddle Opticians set off on their 10-mile "Miles for Smiles" Walkathon, walking between their Compton and Wombourne branches to raise vital funds for Secret Angels (Lives Matter).

A huge thank you to every walker, supporter, volunteer and member of staff taking part in this fantastic challenge. Special thanks also to our media partner, Asian Music Radio, who joined them this morning to help send the team on their way and show their support for this amazing community effort.

This walk is about much more than miles. Every step taken today will help Secret Angels continue supporting vulnerable individuals and families across Wolverhampton through:
