A Successful First Induction Day Across Our Family of Schools! 🎉

Today marked the first of our Induction Days across our family of schools, and what a fantastic day it was!

It was wonderful to welcome so many students as they took their first steps towards the next stage of their education. Across our schools, students had the opportunity to meet staff, make new friends, explore their new surroundings, and begin building confidence for the exciting journey ahead.

We are proud to work together as a family of schools, supporting every child to thrive and succeed. We wish all of our new students a wonderful start to their next chapter.

Celebrating the power of three-tier education

We were delighted to celebrate our Three Tier Learning Community today as we welcomed Dame Alison Peacock from the Chartered College of Teaching to SSLP to explore the unique benefits and challenges of three-tier education.

Having heard Dame Alison speak at the National Middle School Conference, we were thrilled when she accepted our invitation to see first hand the power of this learning pathway.

What stood out throughout the day was the strong sense of belonging across our Partnership. Students spoke confidently about their journey—not just within their own school, but across phases—and those familiar with other systems articulated clearly the advantages of our three-tier model.

Colleagues and students described a shared pride in being part of something bigger than any one classroom or school.

The lasting impression was the joy of learning visible everywhere. From Solutions for Our Planet, to hatching ducks, to A-level History, to exploring complex moral ideas through dance—there was a rich tapestry of learning on display. The “magic” we talk about was clear to see.

At a busy time of year, moments like this matter. They remind us of the heart of our work—and what we can achieve together.
