Dear All,
As we come together to celebrate Vaisakhi, I would like to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a joyful and blessed occasion.
Vaisakhi holds profound significance in the Sikh faith. It marks the founding of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a moment that defined a collective commitment to courage, equality, service, and justice. Central to this moment were the Panj Pyare; Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Dharam Singh, Bhai Himmat Singh, Bhai Mohkam Singh, and Bhai Sahib Singh, who each demonstrated unwavering faith, selflessness, and bravery.
These values resonate deeply with our own principles. The spirit of:
- Service (Seva) – reflected in the care and dedication you show to our pupils and communities every day
- Equality and Inclusion – ensuring every child is seen, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive
- Courage and Integrity – leading with purpose, making the right decisions, and striving for excellence even when it is challenging
- Community (Sangat) – working together across our schools as one Trust, united in our mission
Vaisakhi is a reminder that leadership is not about position, but about action, character, and service to others. Across our Trust, I see these qualities lived out daily in your work, your commitment, and your belief in what we are building together.
Thank you for the difference you make to our children, families, and wider communities.
I hope this Vaisakhi brings you and your loved ones peace, reflection, and renewed strength.
