TIMEOUT our holidays programme which we have been delivering over 10 years here is a snapshot of the fun shared and new experiences during Spring 2026.

We love introducing new activities, planning inclusive activities and days out. Creating inclusive accessible opportunities for disabled children, young people, and their siblings to have fun and adventures with their peers, learning new skills, sharing new experiences, and building new friendships.

We have an exciting announcement we are inviting youth with disabilities to apply for several roles and join the CCYDN’s Executive Committee. 📢 🌏

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN TO JOIN THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS FOR THE COMMONWEALTH CHILDREN & YOUTH DISABILITY NETWORK (CCYDN) 🌏

Closing date for applications extended: 11.59pm (GMT) on Monday 1st June 2026.

Duration: Two-year term - June 2026 to June 2028

♿️ CCYDN is youth with disabilities led network uniting the voices and strengthening the inclusion and meaningful participation, advocacy and leadership of children and youth with disabilities across the Commonwealth for their human rights and inclusive futures.

♿️ CCYDN provides a platform for youth with disabilities to connect, share learning, develop leadership and advocacy skills and knowledge to influence on disability rights, inclusion UNCRC and UNCRPD implementation at national, regional and global levels and together with you all we are powering this up!

We are welcoming applications from youth with disabilities to apply for the following 18 positions:

➡️ 10 CCYDN Executive Committee positions disabled youth from the Commonwealth aged 18 to 28 years

➡️ 3 CCYDN Associate Executive Committee positions youth with disabilities from the Commonwealth aged 29 to 33 years

➡️ 5 CCYDN International Associate Executive Committee positions youth with disabilities not from the Commonwealth aged 18 to 33 years.
