Imagine your pet slips out the door. No collar. No tag. Just a blur of fur and panic running down the street like they’ve got urgent business elsewhere 🐶🐱

Now imagine someone finds them. They take them to be scanned.
Beep. There’s a microchip. Relief starts to kick in… amazing, right?

But then comes the awkward pause.

The details on the chip are out of date.

Wrong number. Old address. Previous owner. Nothing matches up.
And suddenly, that fast-track ticket home becomes a lot slower 💔

This is why microchipping is only half the job.

The chip itself is brilliant. Life saving, in fact.
But it only works properly when the details behind it are kept up to date.

New home, new number, new life? It all needs updating.

We see it all the time in rescue. Animals found, scanned, and then the trail goes cold because something simple wasn’t changed. And honestly, it’s heartbreaking when it’s so easily avoidable.

Hayden & Hazel… the ultimate duo you didn’t know you needed are STILL looking for their purrrrrrrfect home together.

At around 10 months old, these two are basically the definition of “partners in crime”. Where one goes, the other is never far behind - whether that’s for a cuddle, a play session, or a joint investigation into absolutely nothing at all.

They’re incredibly friendly, full of character, and completely devoted to each other. We would love to see them rehomed together because their bond is something really special - the kind that melts your heart a little bit every time you see it 🥹

Both Hayden and Hazel are neutered, have had their first vaccinations, are microchipped, and are up to date with flea and worm treatments - so they’re all set and ready to start their next chapter.

They’re also tray clean (gold star behaviour ⭐) and have settled brilliantly into home life. All they need now… is a place to call their own.

Five adorable tabby kittens.
Five innocent little faces.
Five professional troublemakers. 😇

At around 8 weeks old, these mischievous mini house panthers spend their days charging around at full speed, wrestling each other, climbing things they shouldn't, and generally causing the sort of chaos that only kittens can get away with.

They are playful, confident, cheeky and absolutely full of character.

Before joining their new homes they will be vaccinated, chipped, flea and worm treated.

Because they are such active little kittens, we'd love to see them rehomed in pairs, or into homes with another young, playful cat who can keep up with their endless supply of energy.

If you're looking for a quiet companion who enjoys sitting politely and contemplating life, these probably aren't the kittens for you.

Some best friends grab cocktails together.
Some go on spa days.
And some follow you into the toilet while making aggressive eye contact 👀😅

Today is all about celebrating the friendships that make life better… especially the furry kind ❤️

The bonded pairs who cannot function unless they’re within 3cm of each other.
The foster fails who were “definitely not staying” and are now sleeping upside down on your sofa.
The rescue pets who arrived scared and unsure… then slowly became your little shadow, therapist, walking buddy, and best mate all rolled into one 🐶🐱

There’s just something special about the bond between humans and animals.
No judgement.
No drama.
Just unconditional love… and occasional destruction of your favourite slippers.

And honestly? Watching bonded animals together is enough to melt even the coldest heart 🥹
