Back with a returning customer this week to carry out the internal works on a shed we built for them a few months ago.

The customer decided to have the shed insulated and fully ply-boarded throughout after discovering that the quality of the original building they purchased elsewhere was far below what they expected, especially considering the price they paid for it.

Sometimes it’s about making the best of a bad situation, and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. By insulating and boarding the interior, we’ve transformed the space into something far more practical, durable and comfortable to use all year round.

Another garage project wrapped up and ready for the next stage! 👌

This one started with the removal of an old concrete and asbestos garage. The structure was carefully dismantled and completely removed from site, with all the necessary paperwork provided to confirm the safe and correct disposal of the asbestos. ✅

Once the site was cleared, we got stuck into preparing and laying a brand-new concrete base, leaving everything level, tidy, and ready for the new garage installation next week by Hansons Buildings.

We’re really pleased with how this one has turned out. Not going to lie, the weather did its best to make life difficult! Every time we thought we were getting ahead, another rain cloud seemed to appear from nowhere. 🌧️😂 It felt more like a game of “beat the forecast” than a garage project at times, but we got there in the end.

Despite the constant weather dodging, the job ran smoothly, the site was left clean and tidy, and the new base is looking spot on and ready for the next phase.

Looking forward to seeing the new garage installed next week and completing the transformation. Stay tuned for the finished result! 👏

Hanson Garages

Another concrete base completed and ready for a Hanson Buildings garden room installation next week! 👌

The customer had already done the hard work of clearing and levelling the area for us beforehand – we love jobs like these! 😁

Today’s pour required 46 metres of pump pipeline to reach the site, with C35 concrete installed to provide a strong, durable foundation for the garden room.

Awkward and restricted access sites are one of our specialties. Whether it’s down the side of a property, through tight access points, or across difficult ground, we can pump concrete up to 120 metres from the wagon, allowing us to reach areas that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to access. 💪

Now it’s all set and ready for the next stage of the project. We look forward to seeing the finished result! 🏡

Because of the size of the base — and because we weren’t fancying wheelbarrowing concrete around in today’s heat ☀️🥵 — we had it pumped in instead!

Another reinforced concrete base completed this week in Swindon for Hanson Buildings 👌

This one was a replacement base after tree damage caused issues over time. Amazing what a few roots can do when they decide they own the place 🌳💥 Safe to say the old base had seen better days, so we got stuck in and put down a solid reinforced concrete base ready for the new garden room.

Plenty of digging, levelling, steel reinforcement and concrete later… job done properly and ready to last for years 💪 Always nice seeing everything come together after a hard few days on site.

Now normally this is where I’d upload loads of photos showing the process and finished job… BUT for some reason my phone has decided it doesn’t want to save pictures anymore 🤦‍♂️😂 At this point I genuinely can’t tell if it’s a phone issue or if I’ve reached that age where technology just starts fighting back!

Hopefully I’ll get it sorted before the next project because apparently “have you tried turning it off and on again?” only works so many times 😅

On to the next one
