Once again in the old world's path to glory campaign Mike's Jotnar ogres took on the raiding forces of Jay's Dark Elves. Jay has provided us with a battle report of the skirmish.

"Both armies advanced cautiously, exchanging missile fire as they closed the distance. The Ogre cannon quickly proved its worth, scoring a direct hit on a Cold One Chariot and leaving it hanging on by a thread. Dark Riders and the Sorceress inflicted minor wounds in return, but neither side suffered heavily in the opening stages.

As the battle lines met, the Ogre cannon finished off the damaged chariot. Elsewhere, an Ogre infantry unit failed a crucial charge against the Dark Elf line. Seizing the opportunity, the Kharibdyss and a regiment of Dark Elf Warriors counter-attacked, tearing through the Ogres and routing the last survivor.
The fighting intensified around the Ogre general and his ogre bull bodyguard.

Supported by Dark Riders, the Warriors and Kharibdyss eventually broke the elite Ogres and ran them down. However, before falling, the Ogre general struck a mighty blow that killed the Kharibdyss.

At the same time, the Leadbelchers unleashed a devastating volley that wiped out one unit of Dark Riders.

With the enemy general dead, the remaining Dark Elves pushed forward and overwhelmed the Ogre cannon crew.

The Leadbelchers were reduced to a single survivor who fled the field, leaving only a lone Ogre Bull carrying his banner as darkness fell.

Though the Dark Elves lost a chariot, a unit of Dark Riders, and their Kharibdyss, they left the field victorious after shattering the Ogre army and slaying its general."

So some of the lads attended the Birmingham tournament, after some great games, this is how they did.

Back again with the old world's path to glory where we have Jared high elves taking on Logans warriors of chaos. Once again to provide us with a narration of the battle Logan has given us a battle report.

"Chaos forces ambushed Elves on their route home, in the initial battles the chaos knights decimated the forward scouts of the elves but suffered heavy losses leaving one lone knight with his banner, teaming up with the chaos chariot they managed to push on and destroy one of the elves chariots, on the other flank Dökkr took his Marauders forward alongside the chaos warriors led by Eila, the marauders ended up engaged with an elf on a giant lion supported by the other elven chariot as Eila took her warriors forward to clash with more elves armed with big axes and bows, supported by an elf lady on a lion throwing spells around, Eila decided to ignore the female elf and try crush the unit as quickly as possible, leaving the lady elf to the chaos chariot who got supported by some warhounds as they ran her down, but as this happend more elves appeared from behind leaving the one lone knight to engage on his own, bravely he charged in, with a glorious war cheer in the name of papa nurgle, he ended up routing the ambushing elves but in the other side of the Battle field the Marauders were slowly losing and being pushed back by the chariot and Big Lion, eventually Dökkr fell in a duel against the elf on lion leaving the Marauders to fend for themselves, by some miracle of papa nurgle they managed to get the chariot to run away but we're soon slaughtered afterwards, in its attempt to flee the chaos chariot caught the fleeing chariot as night was falling, they continued to battle with the elves getting wounded but no more were rendered dead as the moon rose and the Battle ended"
