Worcester Sixth Form College

A group of A Level History students are currently in Washington DC. Here is a summary of day 1 provided by one of the students:

"We started the day after a much needed rest, met by our fantastic tour guide Chris, and fuelled up on some tasty breakfast.
Ready to experience what DC had to offer, we took the Metro to Foggy Bottom and started our tour at the Vietnam War Memorial. After some reflection and moments of thought we moved onto the mesmerising Lincoln Memorial with a fantastic view of the Washington Monument.

Our afternoon was spent at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and delved into the insightful exhibitions. Despite being hard to see at some times we gained some vital understanding of the scale and human impact of the Holocaust.

Our day ended on a 20,000+ step count, amazing experiences and ready for day 2!"
