🎓✨ Lower School Prize Giving at RGS Worcester
We were delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Lower School pupils at this year’s Prize Giving ceremony.
We were especially pleased to welcome former pupil Tazmin Barnes (2014–2020) as our Guest of Honour. Since leaving RGS, Tazmin has graduated from the University of Exeter and built an exciting career in music, with more than three million Spotify streams, two Top 20 UK iTunes Pop Chart positions and regular features on BBC Introducing. She now works in Music Partnerships alongside managing her own music career.
Drawing on her experiences in education, music and international business, Tazmin encouraged pupils to embrace opportunities, pursue their interests and create their own unique paths.
The evening recognised hard work and achievement across academic life, sport, music, co-curricular activities and the wider School community.
Congratulations to all our prize winners and to every Lower School pupil on a fantastic year!
🌍💻 RGS Pupils Share Digital Leadership Expertise on a Global Stage
Pupils from across The RGS Worcester Family of Schools presented at the Apple Distinguished Schools Global Summit held at RGS Worcester.
In their session, ‘What Does Student Digital Leadership Look Like at RGS Worcester?' pupils shared how they support staff and fellow pupils, use technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance learning, and develop confidence and leadership skills.
They then worked directly with international delegates, answering questions, sharing practical advice and helping school leaders consider how they could develop student digital leadership in their own schools.
The impact was clear, with one delegate reflecting: “We need so much more of this… it changes our assumptions about pupils can do.”

Hosting the Apple Distinguished Schools Global Summit 2026
We were delighted to welcome delegates from around the world to RGS Worcester as the host venue for the Apple Distinguished Schools Global Summit 2026.
This prestigious international event, organised by Apple, brought together schools to share best practice, innovation and ideas in teaching and learning using technology. It was a privilege for RGS Worcester to provide the setting for such an inspiring and collaborative occasion.
Throughout the summit, visitors experienced a range of sessions, discussions and opportunities to connect with fellow delegates, all focused on enhancing education through creativity and digital innovation.
