Do you want to get noticed when applying for a job?

Having a well-crafted CV is the first step. Here are three tips to make sure your CV stands out and catches the eye of potential employers.

🔴 Make sure your CV is easy to read. Use simple formatting such as headings and bullet points to ensure important information is easy to find. My favourite font for a CV is Calibri Light size 11 or 12

🔴 Tailor your CV to the job you are applying for. Show that you have the specific skills needed for the role and highlight any achievements or qualifications relevant to the job. Find keywords in job descriptions and mirror them in your language, if you've done what they're looking for but not worded it in their terminology, it might get missed.

🔴 Check for errors. Spelling and grammar mistakes can make a bad impression - especially in sales and marketing roles! It's easy to think 'I'm good with typing', or 'Word has my back', but a small typo can catch even the best of us out. Ask someone to once over for you!
