Your Partner in Conflict Management and Workplace Safety

02/04/2026

Training isn’t just about skills, it’s about shaping a safer and more confident workplace culture.

We’ve recently partnered with organisations who want to:

✅ Reduce incidents and complaints
✅ Support staff wellbeing
✅ Improve confidence in responding to difficult behaviour
✅ Build consistent, professional approaches across teams

It’s always rewarding to see staff leave feeling more capable, more supported, and more aligned in how they manage challenging situations.

If your organisation wants to strengthen safety, confidence, and professionalism, we’d be happy to help.

Verbal skills will always be the first choice, but sometimes communication alone isn’t enough.

Our Conflict Management & Personal Safety programme gives staff practical skills to recognise risk early, make safer decisions, and protect themselves in unpredictable situations.

Key learning areas include:

✅ Situational awareness
✅ Positioning, space management, and disengagement
✅ Team-based responses
✅ Legal and professional responsibilities

We don’t teach techniques for the sake of it - we teach skills that work in real environments, under pressure, with real people.

If your staff operate in higher risk settings, we’re here to support them.

Our training team were pleased to support the development of Keele University’s next generation of paramedics ahead of their first clinical placements.

At Stand2, we specialise in preparing professionals for scenarios where communication, personal safety, and conflict management are critical.

New paramedics often find themselves in unpredictable environments, heightened emotions, and rapidly changing situations. Our training is designed to build confidence, improve situational awareness, and support safe decision-making from day one.

By delivering conflict management, personal safety, and clinical intervention skills, we help learners understand how to:

• identify early signs of escalation

• communicate calmly under pressure

• maintain personal safety

• protect patients, colleagues, and themselves

It’s rewarding to see students embracing these skills early in their careers and we’re proud to support the development of safer, more resilient practitioners entering the healthcare frontline.

It was a real privilege to deliver conflict management and de-escalation training to Warwickshire County Council’s Separated Children and Leaving Care team.

This group does the most amazing work supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in our society, and the challenges they face can be complex and emotionally demanding. By equipping staff with the skills to safely manage conflict, defuse tension, and protect themselves and the young people they care for, the training gives them greater confidence in the most difficult situations.

Providing this kind of support is about more than safety. It’s about helping to create an environment where children and young people feel understood, respected and protected. We’re proud to play a part in strengthening the resilience of such a dedicated team.
