These are not just any old crumpets, these are homemade sourdough crumpets made by Me 🤩😇 because I had lots of sourdough discard and hate wasting it. I love them@with lashings of butter so it drips down my chin. Would you want to eat these immediately? How do you like your crumpets?

Lovely ladies luncheon today for a fabulous 95 year old lady. Asparagus and cheese tartlet, baked salmon with basil and crispy fish skin pickled cucumber roast vine tomatoes and dill crème fraiche alongside tenderstem, fine bean, chicory and fennel salad with a tahini dressing. All finished off with a lemon posset with berries. Cake wasn’t by me but it was very pretty and simple.
