Abstract Fox

A backstory...

I have been a musician as long as I can remember, starting with some of my earliest memories of sitting at an organ at the end of my brothers lesson and being taught the melody line of ‘Michael Row Your Boat Ashore’. From that early memory I have always loved music, exploring new genres and how music gives me the chance to really be myself.

From writing my first songs about how the ‘adults don’t understand’ in a punk pop band through experiments with funk, to dipping my toes in some hardcore punk and metal I have grown as a musician, performer and singer/songwriter and gained a passion for all forms of music.

Now, in my newest skin, ‘Abstract Fox’, I am stripping away the layers for a raw and emotional portrayal of my experiences, views and passions. Building on influences ranging from Placebo to Manchester Orchestra; from Reuben to Bon Iver I build my songs with patience, passion and usually a brain that’s fit to burst.

With a proverbial mask I take to the stage and bring an ‘Alternative. Emotional. Raw’ performance that is as much for me as for my audiences.
