Scott Marsden sat down with with Karl from Visit Wrexham to talk about how he got started on his musical journey from The Lizzies into Holy Coves.
They talked about addiction, love, loss, family routes in Wales, Cornwall & the North East, and the people who helped shape his music path along the way, from the very beginning till now.
They talked about how the band went away to make the new Holy Coves record 'Hiraeth', and where the band is up to now with the new album release starting in Wrexham next month.
Plus loads more!

Come and play "Rite of Spring"!
Though our orchestral season has just come to an end, we are already well into plans for our next. We start rehearsals on Wednesday 2nd September with our now traditional "Come and Play" evening.
This year is a little different because Stravinsky's Rite of Spring is also the piece we will be performing at our first concert of the season on November 8th, so it doubles as the first rehearsal. However, such an undertaking requires an orchestra of a spectacular size, so if you think you would like to be part of the whole project then some seats are still available, and we suggest you talk to section leaders on the play day.
The opportunity to play this piece even as a one-off is rare, and we expect there to be great demand, so please fill in the following form as soon as possible to register. We will remove instrument names when a section is too oversubscribed!

The event starts at 7.15 and finishes at 9.30pm. There is no cost, but there is a donation for tea and biscuits, and visiting players may have to print off their own part or download it to an iPad. We look forward to seeing you then!
