Our next point is the village of Stepantsminda, located in the high mountain region of Kazbegi, from where the ascent of mount Gergeti(2200 meters) begins to the monastery of the Holy Trinity, founded in the XIV century(UNESCO). You will see the top of Kazbegi peak,5047 meters above sea level, the second highest top in Georgia.
