Datura Agency is a newly established agency that aims to unite unknown artists working across various mediums and to offer the audience non-commercial music with the characteristic spirit of Datura.

Mark Angelo Harrison, author of the Spiral Tribe book, A Darker Electricity, will be in Berlin at the Dokumentale Film Festival presenting the book on 16th Oct at 18:00.

The book opens in Berlin in November 1993. The Spiral Tribe convoy is parked up on the bombed out city centre core – Potsdamer Platz – here’s a short excerpt:

‛On more that one occasion we’d been offered Kalashnikov AK47s, crated in rough wooded boxes and wrapped in oiled paper. With out diesel-stained combat fatigues, shaved heads, gaunt features and hungry eyes, we looked like a tribe of desperadoes. We were a tribe of desperadoes, but for us, survival in Berlin’s sub-zero winter wasn’t going to be about guns – it was going to be about big, fluffy Russian hats...’
