Sorry this is my first post in a long time but I haven't been baking for a while. I came out of early baking retirement(!) for my very special gorgeous niece to make her 1st birthday cake. My sister set me a great challenge which she knew I would meet but one which kept me awake for a few hours trying to work out the logistics! So the challenge was to make a Twirlywoos rainbow boat cake as Edie loves Twirlywoos and is a very special rainbow baby. I was thrilled with the result and to watch her little face and the other children react to the cake was utterly priceless. I call it the magic of cake art. I thought I would share some of the pics showing you a few of the stages in making her special cake for you all to enjoy!

Really loved making and decorating this wedding cake and all the individual gumpaste roses. Love Christmas weddings. Merry Christmas everyone xx
