This proposal seeks to replace an existing packhouse with a contemporary new build dwelling under Policy GP16 B of the Island Development Plan

The design takes cues from traditional agricultural forms, reimagined as a clean modern home with a simple pitched roof profile, timber cladding and standing seam metal. Generous glazing opens the living spaces to the landscape while maintaining a compact and efficient footprint in keeping with the rural setting.

We have worked carefully to ensure the new dwelling responds positively to its surroundings, enhancing the site while respecting its agricultural character.
