Highly polished furniture like in the video is extra vulnerable to picking up marks, scuffs and scratches during a house move.
So rather than just using a standard transit blanket made from cloth to protect the piece...
It’s best to first secure a transit blanket with tape so the polished areas are covered...
And then add a final layer of bubble wrap which is specifically made for the Moving Industry.
You want to make sure the piece is wrapped underneath too so it looks like a large Christmas present.
This method drastically decreases the risk of damage to highly polished furniture during a house move.
