On our visit to this region, you can see that the original condition of the roads was already quite terrible. You can see clearly from the 4th slide that we had to literally cross a river to reach one of the schools because there wasn’t any other option.

But after this region was hit by the devastating cyclone Batsirai, this condition has only worsened further as the roads which were once at least visible have become almost non-existent.

The Malagasy people are walking for 2 days just so they can reach the main town (Fianarantsoa) from the remote villages. Imagine, 2 WHOLE DAYS just to get access to the aide!
