Channel Insurance Brokers

Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to take the next step in your broking career within a growing, client focused business?

We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team in the Channel Islands, based in either Guernsey or Jersey, with responsibility for a pan island portfolio of clients.

Working as part of CIB within PIB Group, you will use your market knowledge and technical expertise to deliver high quality advice and service to our commercial and corporate clients, helping them protect their businesses and supporting our long-term growth in the islands.

Key responsibilities:

+ Act as an intermediary between clients and insurers, arranging appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
+ Provide professional advice and a high standard of customer service to clients at all times, in person and by telephone/email.
+ Manage and retain an existing portfolio, handling mid-term adjustments, renewals and policy queries.
+ Prepare and present quotations, working with insurers to obtain competitive terms for clients.
+ Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and cross-sell additional products where appropriate.
+ Ensure all documentation and system records are accurate, complete and processed in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
+ Support colleagues and the wider team, contributing to an efficient workflow across the office.
+ Maintain and develop your technical knowledge and professional qualifications (CPD), in line with JFSC/GFSC and PIB Group requirements.
