Hey Folks! It's an exciting time for the market as it takes up its weekly, indoor residence at Forest Methodist Church Hall. It's a lovely space and our community market will be there, every week, from this Saturday (25th Oct) right up until 20th of December.
Here's what we can guarantee you will find there.

1) A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.
2) Fresh Guernsey produce (may vary from week to week)
3) Quality handmade, local gifts.
4) Soaps, candles, needlecraft & crochet.
5) Books, antiques and vintage goods.

Some stalls will be a permanent fixture, others may appear every other week. So, it's worth keeping an eye on this page for weekly updates!

This week, we are delighted that Charlie Bakes will be joining us with her incredible sourdough bread!

In a recent online poll, I asked, "What items would compel you to visit a market each week?" Bread was the top answer with 45 out of 50 respondents voting for it. That's 90%.

So it's great to be able to offer that. I've been chatting to Charlie for some time now, and I know she is as excited as I am!

The kitchen will also be open, serving beanjar, cake, teas and coffees. It will be great to see how this enterprise develops over the next couple of months. I have a few ideas.....Bacon!

It would be great to have your support. Buying local, at this time of the year (or any time of the year, for that matter), really does have its benefits for buyer and vendor alike.

So please, do pop in between 10am and 3pm. There's plenty of parking 'round the back! I'm sure you'll find something quality, something quirky, something made with skill, care and passion for yourself or a loved one.

Hey folks! Saturday is market day! So, come on up to Sausmarez Manor, where great things are happening! The weather is looking perfect, so why not make it your mission to come and see for yourself?

Today, not only do we have Plant Heritage Guernsey and Grow Limited selling an incredible array of amazing seasonal plants and flowers, but we also have, for the first time, a selection of local, artisan cheese.

Adding that to the talents of local creatives, photographers, and designers, the market looks set to be a good one.

We also have live music from 11.00 - 13:00 from local legend Mark Guppy. Meat (from Cobo Butchers) and freshly grown produce. What's not to like?

The Market starts at 0900, and due to other events at The Manor today, a morning visit is recommended but not essential. Patois Tea Room, The Barn Gift Shop and Gallery, Duck feeding, Train rides, Pitch and Putt, and Guernsey Cans Coppersmiths are all open for business, too. So, if you have been meaning to check them out, then here's a great opportunity.

Remember, folks! Saturday is market day, and Summer Ray's Community Market is fast becoming the social hub and retail experience it has set out to be. Additional parking is available in the field directly opposite The Manor, too.
