He started from the bottom… where many would have given up.
A young man, working as a toilet attendant in Bantama, faced life with nothing but hope, faith, and determination.
But he refused to let his circumstances define his future.
Through years of relentless hard work, discipline, and unwavering belief in himself, he rose step by step, challenge by challenge.

This is not just his story.
This is a message to every dreamer: keep going.

We joined the Women’s Chapter of the Ghana Mine Workers’ Union on a working visit to their branch at the AngloGold Ashanti Iduapriem Mine to commemorate International Women’s Day.
The visit formed part of activities to recognize and celebrate the immense contributions of women in the mining sector. It also provided an important platform for engagement and dialogue on key issues affecting women in mining, as well as matters concerning the growth and welfare of women within the union.
During the interaction, participants discussed topics relating to women’s rights, workplace safety, inclusiveness, and the need to strengthen support systems that empower women to thrive in the mining industry.
The engagement reaffirmed the commitment of stakeholders to promote equality, fairness, and opportunities for women while advancing the broader objectives of the union and the mining sector.
