Sometimes we put in a lot of effort and see little return, while sometimes we put in a little effort and see huge result. But when we don't put in any effort we don't see any results. Start putting in effort from today. Make an effort no matter how small it is. Consistency is the key when it comes to seeing the results of your efforts. Just be consistent.

Your effort may not yield fruit for a short time but it will definitely do on a long run. On a long run, no effort is a waste unless it was borne out of irrational decision. An effort that doesn't get you your initial target today may teach you the lesson of exploring another option. Maybe the second option you'll explore will lead to your great success. That is why I maintain that no effort is a waste on a long run.

For every new thing you try, there's a lesson you learn. Learn from both success and failure. Even if your attempt goes south you still have a "take home note" that will help you prepare for next attempt.

Never be afraid of attempting to improve. Never be afraid of trying something new.
Never take previous failure as an excuse.
And never let the fear of failed attempt put you in cage.
