Lil Win has explained that he intentionally turned back midway to Accra after realising he could not control his temper if he attended the 15th Ghana Movie Awards on Sunday.

He said, "Because of the rain, I missed my flight, so I decided to drive instead, however, when I got to Suhum, all I could think about was b,eating someone, so I turned back and returned home. If I had gone to the event, I honestly believe I would have ended up b,eating someone."

When asked if there was a specific person he had issues with, Lil Win confirmed there was, but declined to name the individual.

He also announced that the Best Actor in a Leading Role award he won at the ceremony would be his last, emphasizing that the honour should now be passed to younger actors, as his work already speaks for itself globally.

John Dumelo has announced a full package of World Cup watch party arrangements for his Ayawaso West constituents as the tournament kicks off today.

The MP and Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture confirmed he has paid DSTV subscriptions for TV viewing centres across the constituency and installed free giant screens at six locations, including Abelemkpe Astro Turf Park, Okponglo, Mempasem, Airport Residential Area, West Legon, and Dzorwulu, for Ghana matches and selected World Cup games.

According to him, he has also engaged 13 kenkey sellers across the constituency to provide free kenkey and Ghana fish to residents attending the Ghana matches.

In a video he shared on from his home with wife and children, he said, "Those who said my time has passed, I won't say anything now. If I'm no longer relevant, would I be winning two awards?"

According to him, there is more to come, "I'm praying that Ghana would win the World Cup and when we're done, the media won't be able to contain us."

"I'm the best actor and there's nothing you can do about it. Thanks to everyone who voted for me," he stated.
