Sierra Leone has launched a new “battle plan” to defeat the Ebola virus and revive critical infrastructure. In the first nine months, emphasis will be on reviving health, education, social protection and the economy.

In Liberia, about a quarter of the contacts in Margibi County, where the most recent Ebola cases were detected, have now completed the 21-day cycle and are no longer under self-observation.

At yesterday's International Ebola Recovery Conference, world leaders pledged $3.4 billion to help Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone build back better. This brings the total resources pledged to over $5 billion. Thank you!
