Unidentified Woman Found Deceased Near Kasoa-Kaemebre Store
A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was discovered deceased near a store at the Kasoa-Kaemebre junction in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
The body of the deceased was located alongside her mobile phone.
According to a witness, the woman was initially spotted on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in the morning, resting on a bench outside a store. Later, she was found lying on the ground with blood emanating from her nostrils and mouth.
Speculation arose that the woman may have been subjected to severe assault or poisoning, leading to her demise.
The incident has instilled fear and apprehension among local residents, prompting calls for police intervention

The National Association of Nzema Students – Ghana (NANS-GH) has strongly condemned a recent statement by Prof. Audrey Gadzekpo, alleging that "Some Nzema culture supports homosexuality."
The organization described the claims as misleading and disrespectful to the cultural values of the Nzema people.
Prof. Audrey Gadzekpo, in an interview with JoyNews on LGBTQ on March 2, 2024, argued that some Ghanaian Cultures subscribe to the practice including the Ga and Nzema.
A statement by NANS-GH on Wednesday, March 6, emphasized the Nzema culture, known for its rich traditions and historical significance, does not align with the inaccuracies put forth by Prof. Audrey Gadzekpo.
The organization highlighted that their cultural practices are based on respect, understanding, and a celebration of diversity, and any misrepresentation threatens the integrity of their identity.
NANS-GH demanded an immediate and unqualified apology from Prof. Audrey Gadzekpo for her misguided comments.
They stressed the importance of a public acknowledgment of the inaccuracies in her statement to rectify the harm caused by the dissemination of misinformation.
The statement signed by the association's president, Obed Kofi Lannister, called upon Nzema traditional rulers to publicly denounce Prof. Audrey Gadzekpo's statement.
They emphasized the influential role of traditional leaders in preserving the sanctity of Nzema's cultural heritage and ensuring the accurate representation of Nzema's values.
NANS-GH reaffirmed its commitment to fostering inclusivity and respect within the Nzema community, encouraging open dialogue grounded in truth and understanding while remaining vigilant in protecting the reputation and authenticity of Nzema culture.
